It is never too early to start learning about healthy relationshipsA Bowl Full of Hearts was written by Executive Director Jill Perez Gobora with the goal of introducing young students to the 10 Signs of a Healthy Relationship at an early age, and includes supplemental materials to encourage continued discussion and learning.
The mission of A Bowl Full of Hearts is to foster a universal language for understanding and discussing healthy relationships. |
Shaping Young MindsAs a preschool teacher, Jill recognizes the importance of helping children build and recognize healthy relationships, as many educational programs typically begin to address these topics much later in a child's education.
Children's brains develop rapidly in their early years, shaping their ability to make decisions, manage emotions, and interact with others. By empowering them to form healthy relationships early on, we lay a strong foundation for their future connections and well-being. These early lessons help foster positive behaviors and equip children to navigate relationships with confidence and respect throughout their lives. |
One Love's 10 Signs of a Healthy RelationshipThe 10 Signs of a Healthy Relationship were developed by the One Love Foundation, a national nonprofit dedicated to ending relationship abuse.
As One Love explains, "Healthy relationships bring out the best in you and make you feel good about yourself. A healthy relationship does not mean a “perfect” relationship, and no one is healthy 100% of the time, but the signs below are behaviors you should strive for in all of your relationships." |
