Amy and JillIn 2012, Executive Director Jill Perez Gobora founded The Amy's Kisses Foundation to honor the memory of her only sibling, Amy, and her children, Molly and Gregory. Jill and Amy shared a deep bond; one they extended to their children. Amy’s children, Molly and Gregory, were inseparable from Jill’s children—Georgia, Michael, Emma, and William.
This unity was tragically shattered in 2011 when Amy, Molly, and Gregory were murdered by Amy's estranged husband and the children's father. Amidst unimaginable grief, Jill faced the challenge of creating a new sense of normalcy for herself and her four young children, who were also scared and seeking answers. Seeking a way to help heal the hearts of herself, her parents and her children, Jill established The Amy's Kisses Foundation in 2012 with Amy's lifelong friend, Patti Cush. |
