It is never too early to start learning about healthy relationships

A Bowl Full of Hearts was written by Executive Director Jill Perez Gobora with the goal of introducing young students to the 10 Signs of a Healthy Relationship at an early age, and includes supplemental materials to encourage continued discussion and learning.

The mission of A Bowl Full of Hearts is to foster a universal language for understanding and discussing healthy relationships.

Shaping Young Minds

As a preschool teacher, Jill recognizes the importance of helping children build and recognize healthy relationships, as many educational programs typically begin to address these topics much later in a child's education.

One Love's 10 Signs of a Healthy Relationship

The 10 Signs of a Healthy Relationship were developed by the One Love Foundation, a national nonprofit dedicated to ending relationship abuse.

As One Love explains, "Healthy relationships bring out the best in you and make you feel good about yourself. A healthy relationship does not mean a “perfect” relationship, and no one is healthy 100% of the time, but the signs below are behaviors you should strive for in all of your relationships."

Patnerships

Amy’s Kisses has partnered with A Woman's Place, Bucks County's only domestic violence agency, to incorporate A Bowl Full of Hearts into their community education program.

Community Educators from A Woman's Place visit schools across Bucks County to host interactive storytime sessions with students.

Amy's Kisses provides a free hardcover for the classroom to encourage continued learning.

"Importance of teaching children about healthy relationships"

This book is such a great read for all children, especially younger kiddos. As a social worker, I cannot emphasize enough the importance of this book in teaching children about healthy relationships. It’s important to teach these lessons as early as possible, and this book does a tremendous job in educating young children in a way that’s clear, accessible, and enjoyable. Highly recommend!
- Justin T, Social Worker

"Important and wonderfully written"

"So happy we got this book, it’s an easy read and has super important lessons to teach children. My daughter is only 1.5 but we have started reading it to her already!"
